His goal revolves around a fastener that is the powerhouse of all bolts or nuts. These fasteners will be more dependable than the average bolt or nut making them a better choice. Dale has also shared his invention with a teammate from Massachusetts named Harrison Frye who is a mechanical engineer. Harrison has been using a 3D printer to create a trial run of Dale’s design. Amazingly, when Harrison examined a wave threaded-cap-and tube connection on August 18th, it was withholding 20 pounds of water current for up to one hour. However, the first prototype of the Sukhoi 120 seat superjet is going to have a 2,000 nm range.
Introducing the new snap-lugs, a ruggedized power connector, that will replace the current and traditional terminal lugs, are a great innovation of TE Connectivity Ltd... They are an easy and quick to process without all the bulkiness of the traditional terminal lugs. They can connect thick gauge power cables to grounding devices, bus bars, power panels, and relays and therefore are used in Aerospace, Defense, Marine and many other harsh environments that require a ruggedized power connector. What makes these snap-lugs unique in their nature is that you can connect them and disconnect them without the requirement of a wrench and applying any torque force.
